“We’re seeing more personalized innovation and automation in sourcing and recruiting tools,” says Maren Hogan (@marenhogan), Marketing Consultant with Red Branch Media, of the trends happening HR-related technology. The talent is beginning to come forward more than ever before. We know more about the talent, and therefore recruiters have to market to them, says Hogan in her conversation with Sarah White (@imsosarah), blogger at HRTechBlog. For years, companies have been pushing recruiters to act as their brand ambassadors. Given that today every single employee has the ability to tell and publish their own story, companies have to be their own employer brand ambassadors, White says. Hogan agrees, adding that communications is more personal than ever. The individual stories of the employees are bubbling up to be the employer brand, even with really huge brands.
